Here’s How Many Pounds LeBron Gained After Groin Injury

LeBron James may be saving his teammates from losing too many games at this point of the campaign, but he will have to work even harder to go back to his regular pace. LeBron was out of the floor for several weeks due to the groin injury he suffered on Christmas Day. He feels great at the moment, but some say there is a drop in his performance and it has nothing to do with the strain. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, LeBron has gained 30 pounds.

Can you believe that? The only numbers experts are interested in are scores, but it seems like someone decided to do some math and check up on his waist line. Windhorst spoke on his podcast The Hoop Collective, and used the opportunity to say that LeBron plays at 280 pounds. This is more than his preferred weight as he tends to keep it at 250-265 pounds.

King James did his best to return to the floor, but his injury said something else. LeBron had to watch the game from the bench, and it did not feel good. He decided to go on a diet after the injury, but being away from the court was not too good for his weight.

The Lakers star kept us updated. He showed us some of his meals, and yes, that man was serious about his diet. But, being inactive did not sit too well on him, and LeBron ended up with some extra pounds. He better hit the gym more often and get back to his regular form.

The Los Angeles Lakers hope that LeBron will help them break the spell and start winning games. It is not like he is too stressed about not making the playoffs. He has been there before, so there is no need to worry at the moment.
