LeBron James Had Interesting Exchange With Anthony Davis At All Star Break

Fans will stop talking about the chance that Anthony Davis and LeBron James play together only when these two get to share the same locker room. The New Orleans Pelicans turned down each of the six offers Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson made. Well, it seems like the rumors have not stopped, and now everyone is raging about the exchange between LeBron and Davis during the All-Star break.

The king of basketball and the Pelicans star were caught shaking hands at the break, and now we have people saying there was an exchange.

What fuels these rumors and talks? It’s probably the fact that both players are represented by Klutch Sports.

Los Angeles tried really hard to sign Davis before the trade deadline, however his team was not ready to give up on him. Davis is of great importance for the Pelicans at the moment, and they will do their best to keep him around for longer. That’s why they requested that Magic Johnson sends all of his young prospects to New Orleans, including a couple of first-draft picks. It was a smart plan, but did not quite work.

Let’s go back to the handshake and the exchange

LeBron picked the Pelicans player with his first pick out of the reserve pool. Giannis Antetokounmpo joked, “isn’t that tampering?”

Davis was asked about the list of teams he considers re-signing with once he becomes free agent in 2020. Latest reports suggest that there were just four teams Davis could sign a long-term contract with. However, he sure insists every team is added to his list.

“All 29 other teams are on my list. I don’t have a preferred destination,” he said. “I just want to win. Big market, small market, I don’t care. I want to win.”

What about the exchange? Fans say LeBron’s look came with a purpose.

“LeBron and Anthony Davis said something to each other telepathically,” a Twitter user wrote.
