Lakers ‘Conspiracy’ Revealed Following Failed Anthony Davis Move, LeBron James Claim Made

LeBron James will have to do its best to bring the Los Angeles Lakers to the playoffs.

According to NBA expert Max Kellerman, teams are working against the Lakers. Things took the wrong turn after Christmas Day. The team could not get Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Kellerman accused other teams of conspiring against Los Angeles. None of them sent a player to the franchise. When asked if LeBron deserves extra credit for helping the team reach the playoffs, Kellerman said, “Yeah, extra credit in fact.

“A lot of people did not think the Lakers would make the playoffs when they looked at the strength of the Western Conference and they looked at what else LeBron had on the team. Promising players, yes, but none of them were like ‘oh yeah, there’s a star player’. A couple of guys who look like maybe they’re starters on other teams and that’s about it.

“(Kyle) Kuzma could probably start on a bunch of teams and maybe (Brandon) Ingram – that’s about it. (Rajon) Rondo hasn’t been healthy and none of them are All-Stars in a very tough conference. So it was not a certainty that they make the playoffs. Even guys like me who were aware of that sort of thing were saying ‘alright, it’s LeBron James, they’re gonna make it’ and I would give him credit for taking a team to the playoffs in the Western Conference. I thought they might win a playoff series. But the way it shook down – I’m going to use the word collusion, I’m gonna say a conspiracy in the league to ensure that the cavalry was not coming for the Lakers.

“They were like ‘we’re not gonna send them to the Lakers. We’re gonna try and not send anyone to the Lakers’. The cavalry never came, they never got their reinforcements. If he (James) somehow with a five or six per cent chance of reaching the playoffs with this crew in the Western Conference, it’s incredible. He, of course, gets extra credit for that.”
