LeBron James Announced Changing The Play, Aiming For The Playoffs

LeBron James and his teammates have enough time to convince everyone that they deserve a spot in the playoffs.

Things went downhill after LeBron’s injury, and the young players could not regain the control on the floor. LeBron is back now, and there is still hope that they earn their place in the playoffs.

“It’s going to be a little bit different for me now,” said LeBron. “Just knowing the position that we’re in, for me, personally, I haven’t been in this position in a while. Because of my injury, it’s kind of hit the team. Obviously, we would have loved to have the success while I was out, but we didn’t and this is where we (are) right now.

“So I’m going to be a little bit different earlier than I would like to be in previous years. I don’t fear nothing. I’m all about being uncomfortable; I love being comfortable, I fall in love with being uncomfortable. So this is another uncomfortable thing for me and I love it.

“Why not? I enjoy the challenge of anything. I enjoy being counted out, I enjoy everything. I’m an African American kid from Akron, Ohio, single-parent household, so playing basketball is nothing compared to how I made it out. It’s just basketball and I know I’m ready for the challenge.”

His teammates are a little sceptic about the next few games. They may be young, but they know how things work in the Western Conference.

“I think if we’re fortunate enough to make it to the playoffs this year, it would mean more battling to get the seventh or eighth seed than if you were the three seed,” said Josh Hart. “Because if you were the three seed, you don’t have that much adversity. When you’re two, three games or whatever we are out of the playoff race with 25 games left, going down the stretch … and all the adversity that’s against us and we have to overcome that, I think that would be huge for obviously myself and the younger guys, but just this team and for this organization moving forward.

“Whether that’s him having to go out and get 40 and 10 and 10 and average a triple-double for the rest of the season, he’s capable of doing that. Obviously we would like to limit that and save some of that for the playoffs. But right now the biggest thing is we can’t be too conservative. We can’t be like, ‘OK, we gotta save certain things for the playoffs,’ because right now we’re fighting and every game is important.”
