NFL Releases Bold Statement on Allegations Robert Kraft Solicited Prostitution

The world of football was shocked after the prostitution scandal broke. The fact that Patriots owner Robert Kraft may be involved is even more than shocking. Kraft is charged on two different counts on soliciting another person to commit prostitution, and that’s just the beginning of the whole process. There’s still no warrant issued for him, but authorities work on that.

The NFL came forward with a statement on the prostitution scandal. Sort of.

“The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments.” That was the only thing the NFL had to say on the case.

Kraft’s involvement in the scandal is yet to be confirmed, but the NFL has to do better than this. Most would expect some sort of punishment for the damage he has caused. NFL owners have a personal conduct policy. They have to follow strict rules, maybe even more strict than those of players.

You have probably noticed that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell hands out suspensions for players regardless of whether or not they’re charged in criminal court. The NFL court rules out there, and that’s the only thing that matters in the world of football.

“He is one of the individuals. That would be Mr. Robert Kraft,” a top police official said during a press conference. “He is being charged with the same offense as the others, and that is soliciting another to commit prostitution. We’re as equally stunned as anyone else.”

Kraft’s spokesman denies engagement in prostitution

However, Kraft’s spokesman denied any of the claims. “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further,” the spokesman said in a statement.

Let’s see what happens next.
