Watch: Donald Trump Addresses Robert Kraft Prostitution Scandal

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is involved in the latest prostitution scandal that shocked the country and the world of football. Kraft is charged on two different counts on soliciting another person to commit prostitution. Several members of the Patriots family expressed their support for Kraft, including Devin McCourty. Now we have the sitting President of the United States Donald Trump with his statement on the scandal.

“Well, it’s very sad,” President Trump said during his Friday press conference at the Oval Office. “I was very surprised to see it. He’s proclaimed his innocence totally, but I’m very surprised to see it.”

Kraft supports Trump

President Trump and Kraft are close friends for a really long time. The Patriots owner is a vocal supporter of the President, and had words of praise for him during an interview on Fox & Friends earlier this month. According to him, President Trump is, “working very hard to serve the best interests of the country.”

“Well, we can use every fan who wants to support us, from wherever they are in their standard of life. We love all fans,” Kraft said in his interview.

The prostitution scandal involved around a hundred man, including the Patriots owner. ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter says that Kraft is not the biggest name involved in the sex trafficking crackdown in Jupiter, Florida. This does not seem like fake news, and there is a video showing the Patriots owner, and the police uses it as a lead. Kraft’s spokesman denied the claims and any engagement in the illegal activities.

“We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further,” the spokesman said.
