Former Patriot Sends Major Message To Rest Of NFL After Patriots’ Super Bowl Win

The New England Patriots did not quite give other teams a chance to win more games. Well, they are the best team in the NFL, and have won six Super Bowls in the Brady-Belichick era. Many were convinced that the Patriots dynasty would fall this season, but here we are today, witnessing another great win. Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and the rest of the guys did it again. This former Patriot has something to say to the rest of the NFL.

The Patriots are unstoppable. Belichick is doing his job perfectly, and Brady is not going anywhere. The team appeared in nine of the last 18 Super Bowls and won six. They earned their last Lombardi Trophy past Sunday in the game against the Los Angeles Rams. Non-Patriots across the league do not really like the idea of playing in the shadow of Tom Brady. Seeing the same guys win over and over again causes frustration, and people started expressing their hatred. Publicly. So, this former Patriot thought it would be nice if he says a few words for his favorite team.

According to Akiem Hicks, you can either defeat the Patriots or keep your mouth shut forever. Nice point, right?

“If you’re upset that the Patriots won another Super Bowl. Beat em. Until then all you can do is respect it,” Hicks tweeted.

Hicks’ Chicago Bears lost in the Divisional Round. He played in 2015 with the New England Patriots who fell to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship that year. His colleagues may not have the same feelings for the Patriots, but Hicks sure made a nice comment.

The Patriots will give their best to get close and even win the Super Bowl next year. That looks like a goal to me. Good luck with that, Patriots!
