Julian Edelman Makes Bold Request To Patriots Fans Before Parade

The New England Patriots will be having a parade in the streets of Boston.

Following the big win in Atlanta, Julian Edelman made a huge request from the Patriots fans right before the parade in Tuesday.

“Tuesday I want record numbers at the parade. We just got six. Let’s go!” Edelman said.

Boston Mayor Marty said the festivities will start at 11 a.m. from the Hynes Convention Center. It will proceed to Boylston Street, Tremont Street and Cambridge Street.

Julian Edelman is living his dream as he was named the Super Bowl MVP.

“It’s hard to [imagine], that’s for sure” Edelman said of winning the award. “I’m getting to live out a dream so it’s pretty surreal right now. I think everything happens for a reason. I was always taught as a young boy that you always just have to work hard. Work as hard as you can, put in the extra time and we will see where it goes. Worry about what you have on your plate at that time. That’s what I have tried to do.”

“What did I see in Julian? I mean he just played the best game he has all year. So proud of him (and) what he’s accomplished coming back from his ACL (injury). He just fought it out, grinded it out just like everyone else,” quarterback Tom Brady added.

Julian did not have the best season as he opened it with a suspension. He came back from a torn ACL, and celebrated the birth of his baby girl. His postseason was precious and he really earned the big award. Edelman saved the team in so many occasions, and he was of great importance in the big win over the Los Angeles Rams. The same happened in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
