Julian Edelman Shares Legendary Photo With Tom Brady, Wearing Awesome Star Wars Costumes

Tom Brady and Julian Edelman have a special relationship, and that’s what made the receiver post this Star Wars pic.

Yes, the Patriots receiver took to his Instagram account to post a photo of him and Brady wearing hilarious Star Wars costumes.

Brady and Edelman brought the Patriots to their third Super Bowl win in five seasons. They play really well together, and Edelman is like a little brother to Brady.“He’s always been kind of like my little brother, in a good way,” Brady said of Edelman. “I don’t have a little brother, but he’s kind of like a little brother and he knows how much I love him.

“When you talk about Jerry Rice, that’s a guy that’s set every receiving record in the history of the NFL, basically. For Jules to be right there as one of two guys including him, again it’s just such a credit to Jules. I think his quarterback background’s probably helped him in terms of knowing where to be, knowing how to get open, and knowing when the quarterback wants to get rid of the ball.”

When it comes to Edelman, he was more than excited to play in Super Bowl LIII.

“It means the world,” he said in a recent interview. “This is what you play the game for and it’s been a crazy year for me, two years. I have a kid, tear your ACL, you miss four games. It’s been a mentally, physically, emotionally exhausting year. You put all that effort into overcoming that for this game. It’s been a heck of a year to get to go out and play with your teammates and see how this thing’s evolved out. It’s always a great thing getting to play in the last game of the year.”

“It was tough. You’ve got mixed emotions. You’re happy your teammates are there. You’ve seen some of these younger guys come in as rookies and develop big roles and make big plays to get to the Super Bowl and you’re excited for them but then you also have a hurt feeling because you’re not playing. That’s kind of how you feel but that was last year and this year I’m thinking about the Los Angeles Rams.”
