LeBron Has Cryptic Postgame Message After Terrible Loss Vs. Grizzlies

The way the night started, it looked like LeBron James is about to make basketball history. However, it quickly turned into another grotesque loss for the Los Angeles Lakers who fell before the lowly Grizzlies. The Lakers lost by five points, a loss which was particularly harsh due to the fact that just two nights before, they lost to the Pelicans without Anthony Davis.

James did not take that well and proceeded to call his teammates out, questioning if they were up to the challenge and are able to compete for a playoff berth.

Monday night he was in a similar mood, telling his teammates through reporters that they don’t deserve to play for the Lakers if they are still allowing distractions to affect their game.

“If you’re still allowing distractions to affect the way you play, this is the wrong franchise to be a part of” said LeBron.

Luke Walton’s men are currently tied for 10th in the West with 22 games remaining, trailing the Spurs by three games for the final playoff spot. And if it weren’t for San Antonio’s recent road woes, LA would have had an even harder obstacle to go through.

James then trailed off and stammered a bit, seemingly searching for the right words to express his frustration about the loss.

“Just come and do your job,” he continued. “We do our job at a high level. That’s not a distraction, that’s what you want. That’s what you want every game, you want to feel like you’re fighting for something.”
