LeBron James Addresses Lakers Teammates After Win Over Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers lost too many games in the first half of the regular season. LeBron James was injured and missed a lot of games due to his groin strain. The good news is that the Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets, and their 111-106 comeback win was brilliant. Staples Center was on fire, and fans went crazy!

After the win over the Rockets, LeBron said he is “happy with who we’ve got,” and did not miss the chance to say that he loves his team.

“We did a great job of defending without fouling the second half and then we got out and ran. We were able to get some easy buckets.  I talked about it this morning the things we can’t do and that’s turn the ball over and we’ve got to make our free throws and we did that, especially in the second half.

“We’ve got a fresh start for us, and that’s the second half of the season. The trade deadline is over with, this is our squad. I’m happy with who we got. I love our squad, and I’m looking forward to seeing us battle the rest of this season.”

Houston Rockets player James Harden was tough

Houston player Harden surpassed the 30-point mark, but he did not have much luck in California.

“We tried to make it tough on him,” LeBron said. “Like I said this morning at shootaround, it’s going to be hard to stop a guy that’s averaging 100 points! You just try to make it tough on him, make him make tough shots and put bodies around him and I think we did that.”

The Lakers will have 24 games to earn a ticket for the playoffs. LeBron promised to boost his performance in the second season. The games are fun, but the competition is hard. Let’s see what happens next.
