LeBron Makes NBA History During First Half Vs. Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Lakers had ups and downs this season, and Saturday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans was the last bullet they received. The team is three games out of the playoffs and 23 left to play. Tonight they are playing the Memphis Grizzlies, and this is the perfect test for the team.

If LeBron James’ team wants to make the playoffs, they better start winning games. The match against the Grizzlies will show if the team as learned from the mistakes they made from the previous games they played in.

The Lakers do not have much luck tonight, but LeBron James made history. He is one of the best passers in the league, and these numbers prove that. King James is officially amongt the ten highest assist players of all time.

However, this does not change his frustration. The Lakers are almost comfortable with losing games. Those are his words, and the team better “man up.”

“How many know what’s at stake if you’ve never been there?” LeBron asked rhetorically of qualifying for the playoffs. “I’m playing devil’s advocate, you know? It’s kind of a fine line when you talk about that, because when you’ve never been there or know what it takes to actually shoot for something like that, sometimes you’re afraid to get uncomfortable.” Is Walton aware of this?

“So you got to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. So I’m not saying that’s what we are as a whole. It kind of looks that way at times, that sometimes we’re afraid to be uncomfortable and kind of get out of our comfort zone and kind of, you know, have that sense of urgency from the jump, and not be afraid to actually go out and fail to succeed. So, I mean we have, what? Twenty-three games left. We’ll see what happens.”
