Watch: Lonzo Ball Shares Epic Reaction To Not Being Traded

Lonzo Ball likes his role in the Los Angeles Lakers, and does not even think of going anywhere else. The young Laker has already expressed his opinion regarding the trade deadline. It was more than obvious that he would become a Laker. Ball was following his high school dreams, and his father, LaVar Ball, helped him get the chance. The Lakers signed Ball with the No. 2 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

The Lakers tried to send Lonzo Ball to other team as they were willing to trade several young prospects in order to get Anthony Davis. The New Orleans Pelicans turned down the offer, and wanted more. Magic Johnson said ‘no,’ and Lonzo stayed on the team.

Ball’s Instagram story said it all. He is exactly where he wants to be.

Truth is, the Lakers can trade Ball. If they make the same offer to the Pelicans in the summer, Ball will have to go. LaVar does not like the idea of seeing his son play somewhere else. He even criticized head coach Luke Walton for the Lakers’ failure this season.

“They trade my son, they will never win a championship ’cause what they’re trying to do is be the one hitter quitter,” Lonzo’s father said. “They’re trying to get all these players to try and win a championship … ain’t players, it’s the coach. You don’t have the coach, you out of luck. So you can get as many players as you want, if you don’t have a system or you don’t understand what you’re getting ready to do, you’re not going to win. You can get everyone that’s good.

“LeBron James without Lonzo is not going to win a championship in L.A. I guarantee that.”

Well, maybe Magic Johnson will decide to keep the young player on the roster.
