What LeBron James Was Told At Half Time of NBA All Star Game After Strange Request

Team LeBron won the All Star Game, and the players did a really good job in Charlotte. It was an event worth watching, and LeBron James joined forces with his favorite players to defeat Giannis Antetokounmpo. That’s exacly why he felt like having a break at half time.

Well, LeBron was pretty happy with how things worked on the floor, and he had a half time team talk. Wonder why? King James wanted to enjoy J. Cole’s performance at the NBA All Star Game.

LeBron, Durant and the rest of the guys were trailing 95-82 at half time to Giannis and his crew. However, this did not stop King James from having some fun. They left the locker room at the break, and enjoyed the performance. That’s much better than discussing tactics, right?

Coach Mike Malone did not let things run smoothly for the team. He decided to add some pressure to the whole thing. NBA reporter Dave McMenamin has all the details.

“At halftime with Team LeBron trailing, LeBron James asked Coach Mike Malone if him and his teammates could leave the locker room to watch the J. Cole concert. ‘I’ll let you go watch the J. Cole concert if you all get your a** back on transition (in the second half),’ Malone said,” the reporter tweeted.

It worked really well. LeBron and his team overturned the deficit and won the game. Kevin Durant was named MVP.

Durant scored 31 points. Team LeBron wins the second-consecutive NBA All-Star Game. Last year he confronted Steph Curry and his team.

When asked about Team LeBron’s play, Durant said, “We just started making shots. Bradley Beal, Klay Thompson, that second group got us going and we took off from there. There’s so many great players in this league. To be out here amongst such greatness, I appreciate it. It was an amazing weekend. I’m glad we capped it off with a ‘W’.”
