Media Calls Luke Walton’s Firing After Loss Vs. Bucks

The Los Angeles Lakers sort of had a chance to defeat the Milwaykee Bucks in the second half and enjoyed a huge lead after Giannis Antetokounmpo went to the bench. The defense was great and energized, and Brandon Ingram played one of the most brilliant games ever. LeBron James was amazing as usual, and everything pointed to the fact that the Bucks are going home with a loss. However, Los Angeles and head coach Luke Walton made a huge mistake. The Bucks won the game.

The Lakers defense slipped down the hill in the second half of the game. Bucks players scored 72 points in the final 24 minutes. The Lakers offense was bad, and the coach could have played smarter. The head coach put the wrong players on the floor, and made a few terrible adjustments. The Lakers are another game behind the Los Angeles Clippers, and this put Walton’s future with the team in danger. The Lakers media want him out. The 131-120 loss was ugly, and some are just demanding a coaching change.

Walton made a few wrong moves with JaVale McGee, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo. There were a few rotation issues, and fans are complaining.

“Luke Walton deserves to be fired he’s genuinely a bad coach,” read one of the comments on Twitter.

Truth is, there is no excuse for Walton’s rotations. Lonzo Ball is out, and it seems like Walton can’t do any better. The roster is far from perfect, but the head coach isn’t using all the talent he has available.

How will the Lakers solve the problem? We believe that Walton tried to change something in order to help the team win another game. unfortunately, he did not play smart, and the Lakers lost another game. How far will Walton go before Magic Johnson fires him?
