Watch: Lakers Show Beautiful Tribute To LeBron After Passing Michael Jordan In Record Books

The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and their rivals was all about LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Unfortunately, the Lakers lost the game to the Nuggets, and are now out of the playoff race. The team is six games behind, and they have 18 left to play. But that did not stop LeBron from passing Michael Jordan.

It was a special night for King James. He needed only 13 points to pass Jordan on the all-time scoring rankings. Jordan is often referred to as the best player in the entire NBA history, and LeBron is doing his best to pass his rankings. The Lakers go down in the NBA rankings, but LeBron sure goes up.

The celebration didn’t come easily. LeBron missed his first four free throw attempts, and left the game in the first quarter. He made a nice streak in the second quarter, and passed Jordan at the end of the frame. King James is the fourth-leading scorer in NBA history, and the media has something good to say about him.

LeBron scored the points without the help of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball and Tyson Chandler. They missed the match due to injuries.

“LeBron runs out to the court shortly after pregame introductions conclude. He trails Michael Jordan by 12 points for 4th place in NBA scoring history. Lakers and Nuggets underway momentarily,” Greg Beacham tweeted right before the big moment.

As we already mentioned, it didn’t happen without an effort. ”LeBron has missed his first shot and all four free throws. Staples Center is besides it self right now. Some boos,” Matthew Moreno tweeted.

It’s interesting to note that everyone was so focused on LeBron passing Jordan. The final score did not even matter, and most fans probably knew that LA would lose the match. And so it happened.
