Josh Gordon Shares Incredible Photo To Empower Women

Josh Gordon may be out of the world of football, but he is definitely present on social media. Gordon has been flirting with the idea of coming back, but something else caught everyone’s attention. The former Patriot shared a nice pick to empower women, and it was definitely a surprise for the Patriots nation.

Football players know how to share their feelings and beliefs. Josh Gordon acknowledged women’s power and brilliance through his Instagram story.

Gordon may return to the field any time now. Tedy Bruschi shared his side of the story.

“I just want to step in with personally, in terms of Josh, and just hoping that, you know, he does get himself right if this is something he needs to do,” Bruschi said on “SportsCenter.” “I mean, the New England community — I live there. I mean, they’ve embraced Josh Gordon. They’ve embraced the troubles he’s had and him trying to get everything right in his life. And there were times this year during the season where Josh was doing so much for this team, it looked like he was on his way to playing good football again.

“But still you know there are some demons he’s dealing with, and you just hope that he’s able to get all of that right in his life. If this is something that he has to do for himself, everyone will support that. I support that because you only want what’s best for the player off the field first and foremost.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made a statement on Gordon’s return.

“Directly I have not spoken to him since his last suspension,” Goodell said during his State of the NFL address during Super Bowl week. “I do know he’s in treatment. He’s a young man who has had a lot of challenges. I have gotten to know him and understands his struggles and the challenges that he’s had to go through and he’s working at it. He understands what he has to do. He understand the importance for him — And this is well beyond football. This is for his life. — to make sure he takes care of himself and he understands the importance of getting this issue under control and being able to live a healthy and long life.

“If he can, we’ll evaluate that at the right time, but right now the focus is what more can we do to help Josh get to that place.”

Let’s see if Gordon manages to find his way back to Foxboro.
