Watch: Willie McGinest Floats Groundbreaking Prediction For Rob Gronkowski’s 2019 Season

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski doesn’t say much about his future plans, but Willie McGinest has developed a theory.

The Patriots nation has been waiting for really long to hear if Gronk will hand up his cleats. McGinest believes that Gronkowski may hung up his cleats but not entirely. Can you imagine that? The Patriots legend sure got us thinking.

McGinest shared his theory during a hit on NFL Network. Of course, he made sure everyone knows that he didn’t talk to Gronk and that he was just making a guess. According to him, Gronk will retire and make a return later in the season.

The Patriots legend didn’t really share more details about his theory and he doesn’t even know if head coach Bill Belichick would be happy with this plan. Gronkowski is a talented player, and they will sure come up with the best solution.

Gronk’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, doesn’t know anything about the tight end’s final decision. He talked to Gronk, but the Patriot said nothing. How long will we have to wait to hear the answer?

“I talked to Rob last night,” Rosenhaus said. “He won’t even tell me. He said he hasn’t made a decision yet. He is healthy, which I’m excited to say. He’s feeling a lot better. He plays through an injury in the Super Bowl — what else is new for that beast? He’s so tough. The quad is healthy now.

“Personally, I just want what’s best for Rob. I said, ‘Rob, take your time. Do what you believe in.’ He’s already the all-time greatest tight end. He’s a first-ballot Hall of Fame. There’s never been a tight end like this guy. The sky’s the limit for him. If he comes back to play, fantastic. I honestly don’t know. I’m waiting to see like everybody else.”
