LeBron Told To Make One Key Change For Rest Of His Career

LeBron James didn’t even think he’d miss out the playoffs this season, but that’s exactly what happened. The Los Angeles Lakers signed him to a four-year contract, hoping to make the playoffs. Well, it didn’t work for the team, and they are looking for a solution. The Lakers better play smart this offseason, and make whatever change they need to get the team going.

When it comes to changes, LeBron has to change a few things regarding his physique and style.

NBA expert Cris Carter believes that LeBron has to lose weight and try a different style in the remainder of his career.

LeBron missed 17 games due to his groin injury, and his sore left groin kept him away from the floor again. Will the Lakers rest him now? Or will they bring another superstar on the team?

“We saw him get hurt at this weight but what’s the right weight? [Should he] gain weight or lose weight?” Carter said on Fox Sports’ First Things First.

“Lets use common sense… As you start to get older, your body cannot take the impact on your joints. He is human, just like everybody else in professional sports. LeBron James CAN do this. When he was in Miami he started riding his bike, he got leaner. There are other times when he bulked up to suit his style. If he wants to be the greatest player ever, he’s gonna have to win another championship and be able to come up with a different style [of play] to finish off his career.”

Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has faith in LeBron and the rest of the guys.

“You just gotta keep pushing,” he said. “Seasons like this are what make the championships worth it. It’s just a matter of being patient. Obviously they’ll make smart decisions. You have opportunities, things, pieces that you can trade, assets of that sort, or you can stay with the young guys who are extremely talented and have great upside and let them develop. Either direction you go should be a good direction.”
