Josh Gordon Reacts To Gronkowski ‘s Decision To Retire

The Patriots nation says ‘goodbye’ as Rob Gronkowski leaves New England for good. It’s emotional for pretty much everyone who shared the field with him, and Josh Gordon made comments on Gronk’s deicision to retire. His message was loud and clear.

Josh Gordon may be out of the team, but he follows pretty much every step his teammates made. Gronk’s announcement came like a shock for everybody, including Gordon. He took to Instagram to express the way he feels about the whole thing.

Well, we can’t forget that Gronk was among the first players to welcome Gordon last year. He said, “He’s a really good player. It’s good to have him here. … I’ve never really practiced with him like that before or seen him in person play. But from what I’ve seen before, he’s definitely a great player, and I’m definitely glad to have him here.”

He kept that way of thinking throughout the entire season.

“I would say within the first week when he got out there playing in games,” the tight end said. “Just the way he’s been working, week in, week out. You can see it in the practice field and then you see it in the game. Just a great guy to have out there and a phenomenal athlete.

“He’s brought a lot: the way he just plays, the way he catches the ball, gets that burst, gets us first downs when we need it. Just another player on our team that’s reliable when we need him, so it’s great to have him.”

When Gordon first announced his decision to leave the team, Gronk had nothing but words of praise for him.

“He was a great teammate to have, a great guy to have around in the locker room,” he said. “We’re definitely going to miss him. I wish him nothing but the best. All other matters, you’ll have to directly talk to him, but he was a great teammate to have around.”
