REPORT: Gronk Has Already Decided Where He’ll Continue His Non-NFL Career

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski knows how to surprise fans, but his last surprise wasn’t really the one were expecting. Gronk decided to retire after spending nine seasons with the New England Patriots. His announcement disappointed the Patriots nation, but everyone wished him luck, including team owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady, receiver Julian Edelman and his girlfriend Camille Kostek.

Believe it or not, Gronk has already made the first step toward building a strong non-NFL career. He has signed with a film and TV production company prior to Super Bowl LIII, as reported by NFL Network’s Mike Giardi.

Gronkowski has shown interested in becoming a TV or movie personality. He sure reminds us of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Gronk has already appeared in “Boss Level” (2019), “American Violence” (2017) and “You Can’t Have It” (2017). In April 2017, the tight end made a cameo in WWE, the pro wrestling league.

Gronkowski’s decision to retire wasn’t something fans didn’t expect, but most Patriots hoped to see him on the field in 2019. However, it seems like the tight end had something else on his mind.

“It all started at 20 years old on stage at the NFL draft when my dream came true, and now here I am about to turn 30 in a few months with a decision I feel is the biggest of my life so far. Thank you to all of Pats Nation around the world for the incredible support since I have been apart of this 1st class organization. Thank you for everyone accepting who I am and the dedication I have put into my work to be the best player I could be. But now its time to move forward and move forward with a big smile knowing that the New England Patriots Organization, Pats Nation, and all my fans will be truly a big part of my heart for rest of my life,” Gronk wrote in his Instagram post.

Well, it sure looks like he is ready to move on. Good luck with that, Gronk!
