Robert Kraft Could Be Cleared Due to Lack of Clarity in Court Order on Video Recording

There is a huge problem regarding the video evidence that got Patriots owner Robert Kraft charged for two counts of prostitution soliciting.

Recent reports by WPTV, a Palm Beach news station, suggest that the video footage of the Patriots owner at the Day Spa may have not been legally obtained. If this is the case, the evidence won’e be used in court. This video is an incriminating piece of evidence for Kraft. If these reports are true, he will walk out free of charges.

Detectives installed video surveillance in some of the massage parlors. Secretly. The legality of these actions is now under question. There’s a “sneak-and-peak” strategy warrant to approve such actions. This is an option only when other options are used. So, the whole thing will go even deeper than this.

But, the NFL won’t let Kraft go without any consequences.

“I think we said several weeks ago, the personal conduct policy applies to everybody,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “Commissioners, owners, executives, players, coaches, and it will be applied to everybody. But it will be done after we get all the facts and we have all the information. We will be fair and smart about it, and that’s what we will do.”

The Patriots owner has already apologized for the scandal he was involved in.

“In deference to the judicial process, I have remained silent these past several weeks. To correct some of the misinformation surrounding this matter, my attorney made his first public comments on Friday night. I would like to use this opportunity to say something that I have wanted to say for four weeks.

I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard.

“Throughout my life, I have always tried to do the right thing. The last thing I would ever want to do is disrespect another human being. I have extraordinary respect for women; my morals and my soul were shaped by the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, who I was blessed to have as my partner for 50 years.

“As I move forward, I hope to continue to use the platform with which I have been blessed to help others and try to make a difference. I expect to be judged not by my words, but by my actions. And through those actions, I hope to regain your confidence and respect.”
