Julian Edelman Arrived At Gillette Stadium, Remembers Great Times With Gronk On The Field

Rob Gronkowski gave his teammates the surprise of his life, but it wasn’t a pleasant one. The tight end decided to put an end to his professional career. The Patriots nation didn’t expect to lose Gronk after the Super Bowl, and some said that he waited for too long before making the final decision. However, receiver Julian Edelman misses his big teammate.

Edelman took to his Instagram account to share a photo of him and Gronkowski. It’s more than obvious that he misses their times on the field. Edelman and Gronkowski were Brady’s greatest teammates. They played so many games together and won championships.

“The people I have meet, the relationships I have built, the championships I have been apart of, I just want to thank the whole New England Patriots organization for every opportunity I have been giving and learning the great values of life that I can apply to mine,” Gronk wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to all of Pats Nation around the world for the incredible support since I have been apart of this 1st class organization. Thank you for everyone accepting who I am and the dedication I have put into my work to be the best player I could be.”

There won’t be another Gronk, and everyone knows that. But, the Patriots are already eyeing other players to fill the void, and Noah Fant is one of them.

“Anything can happen in the draft,” Fant said. “You could be picked at eight or nine, or you could be picked at 43. Teams can trade up, trade down [and] things will change again.’ At the end of the day, me and T.J. are two different players, two different skill sets. It depends on what the team wants, what the team is drafting for. A lot of people are split decision of who they like better.”

T.J. Hockenson is also an option.  “But at the same time, no one knows. No one knows what’s going to happen on that day. I don’t think the teams even know what’s going to happen until that day. You could fall very easily.’’
