Danny Amendola Delivers Sincere Message To Ex-Teammate Rob Gronkowski

The New England Patriots still process Rob Gronkowski’s decision to leave the world of football, and even his former teammates reacted to the big step he made. Danny Amendola took to Twitter to express his feelings about Gronk and their time in New England.

Amendola hailed his former teammate for the things he accomplished on the field and all the times they had fun.

He wrote, “To the most genuine man I’ve ever met. I love your hugs. Spikes. Buses. And I’ll never forget our trips home. LFG bro.”

Amendola joined Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and the rest of the Patriots family.

“What an honor and privilege to play with you these past nine years @gronk! You accomplished so much and our team was almost unbeatable when you were on the field! Your fun-loving, inspiring, and positive energy made an impact on everybody you came into contact with! Not just that, but for as great as a player you are, you are a better teammate and person. The NFL was a better place with you in it! But I have no doubt you will be a success in anything you do!!! Love you pal!” Brady wrote.

Edelman’s message was full of emotions, too. He called Gronk the GOAT, and that’s the highest compliment he will ever get. TB12 did the same thing.

Gronk was a brilliant player, friend and teammate. The Patriots locker room will never be the same without him, and Josh McDaniels already said there will never be another Gronk. He is one of a kind, and the Patriots will miss his energy. But, we all know he is off to something great, and we wish him luck. Gronk knows what he is doing, and his family supports him. His other family – New England – supports him, too. Good luck, Gronk!
