Gisele Bündchen Shares Intimate Details About Her Wedding Ceremony With Tom

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are definitely the most talked about couple nowadays. They may be a glorious couple, but their wedding ceremony was really modest. Gisele shared details of her nuptials to the Patriots quarterback in her autobiography, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

Gisele and Tom got married ten years ago, and their love for each other is stronger than ever. The couple has had many problems at the beginning, and their first blow came when Bridget Moynahan said she was pregnant with Brady’s baby. But, problems only made their bond stronger, and the couple got married. The wedding was modest, but brilliant.

“Before the ceremony, my sister Fafi helped me do my hair. I wore waterproof mascara since I knew I was going to cry—because I always cry!—and it wouldn’t have been a pretty sight having raccoon eyes at my own wedding,” Bündchen wrote in her book. She wore a “simple white slip dress,” and we could see it in her Instagram post. She posted the pick on their ninth wedding anniversary, and in her book, Gisele writes about the second celebration that was organized in April in Santa Terasa, Costa Rica.

The couple invited only 40 people – their extended families and three good friends each.

“People ate Mexican food and drank margaritas. They sat or stood in the kitchen, or on the lawn, or by the side of the pool. My sister Pati and Tom’s sister Julie each read a beautiful poem, and everyone had a slice of the chocolate wedding cake. Tom had made playlists — his had songs by Ray LaMontagne, Amos Lee, James Taylor, and others—and at some point my friend Nino, whom I’ve known since my earliest days in New York and who’s like a brother to me, plugged in his iPod. The kids went swimming in the pool, while guests danced around in their bathing suits,” Gisele noted.

“I do remember looking for, and finding, Tom, and though I can’t remember who led and who followed—does it matter?—we started to dance. We are still dancing, and growing through the ups and downs of life,” the Brazilian supermodel wrote.
