Joe Flacco Releases Groundbreaking Statement About Tom Brady

Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway traded for Joe Flacco, and didn’t miss the opportunity to say that the quarterback has many years of great football ahead of him. Well, we can’t say that Flacco disagrees with that.

Joe Flacco thanked the general manager for giving him a chance, and made a Tom Brady joke.

“It feels good because I definitely feel that way, so it feels good to hear somebody say that,” Flacco said at his introductory press conference. “I mean, shoot, with Tom Brady now, quarterbacks are playing until they’re about 60 years old. Listen, I’m as healthy as I’ve ever been, I’m as physical as I’ve ever been. Obviously at any time something crazy can happen, but barring anything crazy happening I’m as healthy as I can be and as physical and ready to go as ever. So I’m excited about what lies ahead for me and my future and I’m not putting a number on how much time I’ve got left to play. I want to play as long as I can and hopefully they’re dragging me out of this building a long time from now.”

Tom Brady would agree with Joe Flacco

Will Flacco play until 45? We will have to wait and see that. The Patriots quarterback said there was zero chance for him to retire, and even promised to play until he is 45. May this be a motivation for Flacco and other players with “many years of good football.”

“I’ve set a goal for myself at 45,” Brady said in one of his interviews. “Like I said before, it’s very hard to make it that far. I know how hard it was this year and the commitment it takes and hopefully I’ve learned from some of the things that happened this year to be better next year, but every year’s tough.”
