Josh Gordon Rocks TB12 Shirt During Offseason Workout

Josh Gordon may have left the New England Patriots, but he is not ready to give up on his career. Moreover, the Patriot was seen training like a maniac with an Olympic sprinter.

One thing stands for sure: Josh Gordon is ready for a comeback. Sources close to the wide receiver confirm that Gordon worked out at Numa Speed in Florida with Tim Montgomery. Let’s not forget that Montgomery is a former Team USA sprinter who won a gold medal in the 4×100 in 2000.

These two have been working out six days a week for several hours a day. Their main target? Speed and power.

Things are looking really great for Gordon and he posted photos of his last workout session. He looks really great. Is this a message for the Patriots? They sure want him back.

He was a great teammate,” McCourty said. “He worked his butt off while he was here. So I think for us as players, we wish him the best personally. … I think, as people, you feel for that. I mean, if you don’t, I guess you don’t, but I think as guys in this locker room, we care more about him and him getting well and all of those things more than him catching passes. Play football. Just keep playing. I think we realize the task we have at hand Sunday — a game that we feel is a must-win. We’ve got to come out here, play well at home and get a win coming off back-to-back losses.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is ready to give Gordon a second chance.“Directly I have not spoken to him since his last suspension,” Goodell said in his State of the NFL address during Super Bowl week. “I do know he’s in treatment. He’s a young man who has had a lot of challenges. I have gotten to know him and understands his struggles and the challenges that he’s had to go through and he’s working at it. He understands what he has to do. He understand the importance for him — And this is well beyond football. This is for his life. — to make sure he takes care of himself and he understands the importance of getting this issue under control and being able to live a healthy and long life. If he can, we’ll evaluate that at the right time, but right now the focus is what more can we do to help Josh get to that place.”
