Key Member Of New England Patriots Coaching Staff Reportedly Leaving Organization

Jack Easterby is probably not the first name that pops in your mind when you think of the New England Patriots. Well, now is the time for you to understand that he has role in the team, but the bad news is that he may leave the coaching staff.

Nora Princiotti and Ben Volin were the first to report the big news. Jack Easterby is one of the many members of the Patriots coaching staff to leave the team for another organization.

“Easterby’s contract with the Patriots expired after last season, and he has decided to pursue other opportunities in football.

“Easterby’s departure comes at a time when the organization is reeling from team owner Robert Kraft facing charges in Florida for soliciting prostitution,” Princiotti and Volin wrote. “Easterby felt his time with the team had run its course, and the Kraft situation does not sit well with him, according to league sources. Easterby retweeted a message from Saints tight end Ben Watson last Friday about the ‘entrenched evil’ of human trafficking.”

When he first arrived in New England, Easterby helped the Patriots go through the Aaron Hernandez problem.

“It’s really hard to put that into words,” Matthew Slater said of Easterby in January. “What he’s really done here is shift our culture. We were in a tough spot when he got here. We were going through a lot of things off the football field and he really brought a sense of comfort and stability to our locker room. He brought our brotherhood closer together through his faith and the principles he believes in. I honestly don’t think we’re here, where we are sitting here today without his influence on our team.”

Will the departure of Easterby affect the situation in New England? Maybe we should just wait to see the full scenario.
