Kyle Kuzma Makes LeBron James Revelation After Los Angeles Lakers Miss Playoff

The Los Angeles Lakers are outside the playoff race, and it’s now official. Kyle Kuzma opened up about the team’s failure after they were defeated by the Brooklyn Nets.

Kyle Kuzma had a great season with the Lakers. He averaged 18.5 points per game and scored 18 points against the Nets on Friday. However, this wasn’t enough to lift the Lakers’ defense, and the Nets used that to defeat the team.

The Lakers had a terrible season. They had to deal with injuries, rumors, locker room disputes, failed trades and unhealthy attention. Each and every factor affected their game, and the young core didn’t even have a chance to make the playoffs.

LeBron’s groin injury triggered an avalanche of bad luck, and the team fell from fourth in the West to ninth. The Lakers didn’t recover, and are now tenth in the conference.

The young Kuzma said things didn’t got better after LeBron suffered a groin strain.

“I wouldn’t imagine not making the playoffs (at the beginning of the season),” he admitted. “We got derailed by a lot of injuries, and that pretty much sums up our season. At one point we were holding our heads high, in a great position, and that bug just came in and hurt us.”

The young Laker is far from disappointed, and he promised the Lakers fanbase to play and work harder next year.

“Just continue to get better, every single day,” Kuzma said in reference to his attitude towards the general dissapointment.

“Put the work in and over the years accumulate all the work and just get better. I think I’ve done a pretty good job developing so far, but the good thing is there’s always room for growth.”

The Lakers have to focus on the possibility that they get another big name on the roster.
