Kyrie Irving: Huge LeBron James Claim Made Over Lakers

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James did wonders in Cleveland, but it all came to an end. Irving wanted to be a star on his own team, and requested a trade. He is now playing with the Boston Celtics, and may soon join LeBron in Los Angeles. Well, some say that he is not the right fit for any NBA team.

That’s what NBA analyst Robin Lundberg said. Kyrie Irving has been one of the hottest topics this season as the Celtics did not quite match our pre-season expectations. They are now fifth in the Eastern Conference, and that’s not the scenario they hoped for.

The Celtics are 10.5 games back from the Milwaukee Bucks after being defeated by the Houston Rockets.

James Harden played the Celtics, and they fell to a 115-104 defeat. Irving was good during the game and scored 24 points. However, this defeat affects the team. it is their seventh defeat in eight games, and Irving was part of the starting lineup in each game.

Irving will hit free agency this summer, and many say that his future plans triggered an unrest in the Celtics locker room. He was linked with the Lakers and the New York Knicks.

Lundberg spoke on the Sports Illustrated show SI Now, and slammed Irving for his move in 2017.

“Clearly Kyrie Irving wants to be the star,” Lundberg said. “But I do not think that he is good enough unless he’s the second guy. That’s his set up, that’s his skill set. No matter how many phone calls he makes to LeBron James, no matter how many ticked-off press conferences he gives after games. In fact, he should have stayed with LeBron James. That would have saved us a lot of unnecessary drama if they stayed together. The question I have for him is – is there any situation that would actually make him happy?
