Lakers Reportedly Eyeing Big Man For Playoffs Push

The Los Angeles Lakers are doing their best to make the playoffs. However, they better try even harder, because playing at this pace will not help them achieve great results. Their schedule is pretty tough, and the end of the season is always the toughest. The good news is that the team is looking forward to boost their roster. They failed to land New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis before the NBA trade deadline. In other words, Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson will try to add another key player.

The new addition will help the team. Will it be a big name? What are team’s available options? The playoffs are right around the corner, and Johnson needs to create the winning formula.

The Los Angeles Times reported that LeBron James’ team have to get another player.

Former NBA star Paul Pierce suggested that the Lakers “shut LeBron down” for the rest of the regular season. Well, that’s not an option at the moment. The Lakers are playing without Lonzo Ball, and Times’ report suggests that there is no timetable for the point guard’s return. Lonzo is of great importance for the team’s defense and he is an excellent playmaker. Even King James said Lonzo is missed a lot for what he makes on the floor.

Broderick Turner reported that “the Lakers wouldn’t mind adding another big man.” The information comes for a source that is “not authorized to speak publicly.” There is a huge possibility that this happens, because the Lakers are used to do this.

DeAndre Jordan was an option, but getting him means going through a lot of trades. Trades will not be sealed until the offseason. LA will have to wait for a bit and see who is available for their game. Good luck with the big guy, LA.
