LeBron And Kyrie Involved In Secret Exchange After Lakers-Celtics Game

Two years ago, Kyrie Irving decided to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers, because he didn’t want to play in the shadow of LeBron James. He forced a move from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Boston Celtics. So many things happened in the mean time.

Kyrie and LeBron had an ugly separation after the trade demand, but something brilliant happened in January 2019. The Boston Celtics player called LeBron to apologize for his attitude in Cleveland. The whole thing happened at the time Kyrie had problems with the young Celtics players. He called them out after every loss. LeBron was fine with this move, and he even called Kyrie “family.”

“I think I’ve always loved Kyrie, from before I met him, until when I became his teammate, to even now,”LeBron said. “So the phone call, more than for me, I think just to see his growth … It takes a real man and a real person – and a real person to understand who they are – to be able to call, or to do anything and be able to see their wrongdoings or believe they have some wrongdoings and then be able to come to grips with that and then be able to either apologize or say that, ‘At that point and time, I thought I was ready for something, but I really wasn’t.’

“… I really don’t want to talk about it too much, because it’s not for everybody. … I love Kyrie. I love everything about Kyrie.”

So, this was enough for fans to start talking about the exchange between the former teammates.

Kyrie and LeBron exchanged a few words with grins on their face. This may mean nothing, but we have a good reason to believe they may reunite.

Their teams met at Staples Center, and the Lakers lost the game to Boston 120-107. Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma didn’t play.
