LeBron James Told Of Huge Hurdle To Convince Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving To Join Lakers

LeBron James is linked with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, and fans hope that the Los Angeles Lakers will have success in signing one of them.

But, it seems like LeBron will have one big hurdle in convincing Kyrie and Kevin to join him in Los Angeles.

LeBron had a terrible debut season with the Lakers, and he is ready for the offseason. He will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2005, and he is already making plans for his free summer. But, Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson will have to try extra hard this summer. Durant, Irving and Leonard are their top targets in free agency. Do they have a chance to sign one of them?

Latest reports suggest that the Lakers aren’t really favorites when it comes to landing these players. Some say it’s because of the “toxic” environment in Los Angeles, noting that players don’t like being involved in such chaos.

ESPN’s Briand Windhorst reported that there is also another reason some players don’t like playing with the Lakers.

“No matter who the coach is, I don’t think it’s going to matter with these free agents,” he said on ESPN.

“You know what Durant, Kawhi, Kyrie and Klay Thompson have in common?

“They all have rings. So nobody is going to want to come to L.A. and maybe deal with the headache when they already have a ring and could go elsewhere.

“That’s a huge hurdle, no matter who is hired as head coach.”

We will have enough time to see if the Lakers will have success in signing an All-Star. They will have to struggle against heavy competition, and many teams have already expressed their interested in these three players, including the LA Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. How will Magic Johnson handle that?
