LeBron Reveals What The Lakers Pitch Will Be In Free Agency

The Los Angeles Lakers are having a terrible season, but they will still try to sign a big player this summer. LeBron James talked about the best selling points for the team heading into free agency with hopes of landing top players.

Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Kyrie Irving will be their top priority in free agency. 2018 was a big disappointment for LA and LeBron, so their attention is now focused on the offseason. The Lakers are expected to try and trade for New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis, but he won’t be their only priority. Several NBA superstars will become free agents in the summer, and they will all go for a thick contract.

LeBron’s team was linked with almost every big player in the league, but things won’t go too easy for the team.

The Los Angeles Clippers will go for Kawhi Leonard. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are linked with the New York Knicks. Will Magic Johnson be lucky enough to sign one of them?

LeBron has already started his recruitment plan.

“Listen, at the end of the day this franchise wants to win and wants to win big,” he said. “And one thing about this franchise is they cater to the players. That’s it. Everything else comes secondary.

“They only want us to go out and perform at a high level and play the game at a high level so that we can be mentioned with some of the great teams that’s in the league at that point in time.

“So like I’ve said there’s a lot of great free agents this summer.

“I’m not going to name any names, because any time I say something or our organisation says something about a specific person we get in trouble.

“But we have an opportunity to get better, and that’s something that’s definitely great to know, (that) you have an opportunity to get better from a personnel standpoint.”
