LeBron’s Uninterrupted Launches Third Season of ‘Kneading Dough’ Series

LeBron James went to Los Angeles to join the Lakers and tranform the team into contenders. It did not work, and the Lakers are now five-and-a-half games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. But, that does not change the fact that LeBron is really successful outside the court. His digital media company Uninterrupted has announced the third season of the video-series “Kneading Dough.”

The series explores the financial life of professional athletes and all the changes that comes in it. Four-time Olympic gold medalist Simon Biles will open the new season. She is one of the many athletes that were invited to this show, including Serena Williams, Draymond Green and Ben Simmons.

LeBron’s business partner, Maverick Carter, is conducting the interviews that last between eight and ten minutes. Viewers will be able to download the full-length interviews as a podcast.

Chase Bank is the presenting sponsor of “Kneading Dough.”

“Normalizing conversations around personal finance has been a priority for Chase since we started the Kneading Dough series,” revealed Lois Backon, head of Corporate Partner Marketing at JPMorgan Chase. “The launch of the podcasts will give everyone the opportunity to hear the full, unedited interviews, and we hope they’ll inspire consumers to talk about money and learn about financial topics.”

Carter is the CEO of Uninterrupted. He says that Lakers director of basketball operations Magic Johnson was his favorite interview subject in the first two seasons. Johnson is the most empowered athlete post-career, as Carter likes to call him.

“’Kneading Dough’ is about empowering athletes to tell their stories about finances and money, letting them take back the narrative and talk about the decisions they’ve made in their own way,” says Carter. “Regardless of which athlete I sit down with, the financial journey is as compelling as any other aspect of their career.”
