Meek Mill: ‘I Slid Into Tom Brady’s DMS… He Responded’

Meek Mill congratulated Patriots quarterback Tom Brady on his championship win in Atlanta, and now he has some words of praise for the GOAT.

Namely, Meek Mill reached out to Brady to congratulate him for the magnificent thing he has been doing with the team. The whole thing didn’t end here because Brady messaged him back, and had a batch of compliments for the Philly rapper. Mill is still under impression!

The rapper detailed his convo with the quarterback while speaking at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston Friday. TB12 praised Mill for his mental toughness through the controversial sting at a Pennsylvania state prison.

“I didn’t know Tom Brady knew who I was, I just took a shot, and he was like ‘I seen you been through so much,'” Meek said.  “‘What you went through was kinda like, almost harder than winning the Super Bowl game, bro.'”

Meek was speaking about criminal justice reform with his friend Michael Rubin. This actually brought him an avalanche of compliments, and Drake said he “definitely had the best comeback of all time.”

When it comes to Meek’s arrest, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office says that the officer who busted the rapper could be one of the most corrupt cops ever. Officer Reginald Graham had a huge role in Meek’s arrest for gun and drug charges. He is 1 of 29 current and former officers who were placed on a “Do not call” list. We all know what that means. Graham was actually “investigated by federal authorities for several alleged acts of corruption.”

The rapper’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, said, “The release of the so-called ‘Do Not Testify’ list supports everything in the motions filed by Mill and others wrongfully arrested by Officer Graham for post-conviction relief.”

Meek was 19 at the time of arrest, and was sentenced with 10 years probation. He was sentenced in November again for violating probation.
