New Shocking Petition Aims to Punish Gillette Over Robert Kraft Prostitution Scandal

Things may easily change for the Patriots’ stadium if this internet activism group gets things their way. A web petition appearec on Care.com, and 13,610 people signed it. What’s the final goal? If this petition reaches the right number of signatures, Gillette Stadium will have to cut ties with the New England Patriots.

Yes, you made the right guess. The petition on Gillette Stadium comes as a result of the prostitution scandal Patriots owner Robert Kraft was involved in.

The Patriots owner was charged with two counts of soliciting another person to commit prostitution in several massage parlors in Florida. Kraft pleaded not guilty to the charges, but there is visual evidence confirming he paid for sexual acts at one specific parlor in February.

“We’re asking Gillette to stop sponsoring Gillette Stadium, the home stadium for the New England Patriots — owned by Robert Kraft, who was just arrested during a human trafficking sting operation,” the petition says.

The Care2.com team demands that the company turns teir words into action, referring to the tagline, “the best men can be.”

Care2 describes itself as the “world’s largest community for good,” and opposes bigots, bullies, misogynists and “other mean people.”

The team is close to getting their 14,000 signatures. If Kraft is found guilty, he may face a maximum of 120 days in prison.

The Patriots nation has already expressed support for the owner.

“He’s a 77 year old man who lost his wife to cancer, has donated $400+ million through his foundation and won 6 Super Bowls in 18 years. If anyone deserves a $59 rub n tug, it’s Bob.”

Kraft may not appear in court.

A lawyer can just give the paperwork to the court if it goes that direction,” Florida-based attorney David S. Weinstein said. “There’s a good possibility he’d never have to show up.”
