Patriots’ Patrick Chung Sued Over Super Bowl Talk

Former Los Angeles Rams ticket exec utive says he was fired from his job for saying Patrick Chung was a “bitch” during the Super Bowl. He can’t even get a job at the moment.

Matthew Hogan says he was college buddies with Matthew Weymoith who is in charge of Patrick Chung’s social media accounts.

The Rams confronted the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. Now Hogan says that he and Weymouth engaged in trash talk over the cell phones. It was a friendly, business, of course. Well, that changed right after Chung got hurt during the game. So, Hogan sent Weymouth a text message saying, “Patrick Chung is a bitch.” And boom!

Weymouth got pretty angry and threatened Hogan. He said, “Your [sic] a c*nt for saying that” and “If I see you I’m going to jail and I don’t care.”

So, in his lawsuit Hogan says Weymouth posted screenshots of their exchange on Patrick Chung’s Instagam and Facebook account, making it look as if Hogan is insulting the NFL player directly.

According to one of the captions, Hogan was identified as a Rams employee, and the message read, “This is disrespectful of you. I would never wish or say anything like this to anyone after they just broke their arm. You should be ashamed bro.”

Hogan says the posts constitute defamation. After the messages were made public to people, Hogan said he was “forced from the job.” According to him, he can’t get a job now. Hogan also says that Chung’s fnans harass him, sending him awful messages.

So, now Hogan is suing Chung, Weymouth and others for over $1.75 million. Who is getting things their way? This is a major case in the NFL, and we can’t wait to see the whole thing resolved. Is Patrick Chung in a really big trouble now?
