Robert Kraft’s Attorney Releases Game-Changing Statement About Patriots Owner Prostitution Case

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is involved in a major scandal that goes after his reputation, and he has faced scrutiny after being linked to a prostitution link in Florida. Kraft’s attorney, William Burck, believes the footage acquired by law enforcement was actually illegally obtained.

”There was no human trafficking and law enforcement knows it,” the attorney told ESPN. “The video and traffic stop were illegal and law enforcement just doesn’t want to admit it. The state attorney needs to step up and do the right thing and investigate how the evidence in this case was obtained.”

Prosecutors offered Kraft a plea deal, but he turned it down. Moreover, the Patriots owner filed a motion to prevent the release of the video.

ESPN.com’s T.J. Quinn reports that Kraft filed the motion in case he fails to reach a plea deal with prosecutors. According to Quinn, the motion is “a warning shot to prosecutors that Kraft’s legal team will try to go after the state’s case by saying there was no probable cause to collect the evidence in the first place.”

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder explained the video may be made available at a later date: “Once a case is over, it’s not an ongoing investigation. There has to be a specific reason not to release a public record. And the fact that there is sexual activity is not an exemption.”

Kraft’s attorney didn’t approve the pled deal. He said, “We have looked into it, we’ve looked at the charges brought, looked at the evidence, and there is zero evidence of human trafficking.

“If there was human trafficking, these men would face more than misdemeanors. Our view is that the state attorney’s job is to uphold the law, and we think he should be scrutinizing how the search warrant was obtained and traffic stop was done, and explain to us why we’re wrong to object.”
