Tom Brady Drops Major Hint On Instagram About Martellus Bennett Signing With Patriots

If you ask Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, he will say that having two Bennetts is definitely better than having one. New England confirmed the addition of defensive end Michael Bennett. He is coming to Foxboro through a trade deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. His brother, Martellus, played with the Patriots in 2016 and 2017, and Brady tried to recruit the retired tight end.

The NFL shared a cartoon on the official Instagram account right after the Patriots confirmed the trade for Michael Bennett. Now go to the comments section and read Brady’s comment. Twice. He wrote, “Yes please! Now come on @martellusb.” Will Martellus like it.

Michael’s contract fueled the fire, and Martellus showed interest in returning to the team.

He also believes that Brady is better than Aaron Rodgers.

“I think that no one has more arm talent than Aaron,” Bennett said. “Aaron can pretty much do anything with the ball. I feel like Tom Brady is precise, easier to play with. It was easier to play with Tom than anybody else.

“He makes the game easy, what he expects, where he wants you to be, where he’s putting the ball, he does so many repetitions with you, mental reps, physical reps, walk-through, he’s always letting you know. He communicates the best of what he expects. The communication between him and the receiver is on the highest level: What you like to do, what he likes to throw, if you ask him to do something he’ll try it.”
