Tom Brady’s Son Has A Fantasy Football Team… Dad Isn’t On It

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the ultimate football player. However, some believe that he’s a bit overrated in fantasy football, and others say that even Brady’s son agrees on this one.

During his press conference Friday afternoon, the quarterback talked about the “Philly Philly” play the Philadelphia Eagles ran against the Atlanta Falcons. This reminds us of the wide receiver pass that Brady dropped during the Super Bowl in February. Brady’s son has a fantasy team, and the quarterback used it as a parable.

“My son does fantasy football and he’s looking at his projections for this week and going, ‘Dad, I’m supposed to lose.’ I said, ‘Well, none of that matters because, you know, you actually got to go play the game.’ And that’s what we’re all here for – no one knows what the outcomes are going to be,” Brady said during the press conference.

Was Brady referring to his 11-year-old son Jack? Or maybe it was Ben, who is 8? But, this leads us to the following question. Who is the quarterback in the kid’s fantasy team?

“Not me. He had Matt Ryan actually, so he was watching with me last night,” Brady said.

This wasn’t the first time Jack picks another quarterback. In one ocassion, Brady said that Jack had drafted Cam Newton. The quarterback even joked that he’d pick Newton over himself, too.

Tom Brady is generally ranked among the top-three fantasy players at that spot. Ryan is ranked outside the top 10. Well, maybe Jack has a different version of the duties quarterbacks have.

Will Brady enter his son’s fantasy team in near future? Maybe. He has a few more seasons ahead, and his game is solid, so maybe the kid will change his mind, and opt for his dad next time. Good luck with that, Brady.
