Watch: Bill Belichick Surprises Rich Eisen With Amazing Charity Donation

The NFL combine is closing up, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did a brilliant thing.

Belichick appeared in the NFL Network broadcast booth, and used the chance to see Rich Eisen and hand him a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We all know that Eisen has a tradition of running the 40-yard dash every year to donate money for the hospital. Belichick follows his example, and makes a donation himself.

The Patriots head coach does not really like the media attention and just gave Eisen a handshake. But, Eisen can’t ignore the good thing Belichick made and praised him on Twitter.

“Great thanks to @patriots HC Bill Belichick for crashing our #Combine set for a second straight year to, once again, lead by example and drop off an extremely generous check for @StJude on behalf of #RunRichRun.”

“Thank you so much. You’re a good man,” Eisen told Belichick before removing his headset.

Last year, Belichick pointed out how amazing Eisen is, adding that it is an excellent production that gives nice content for NFL fans. According to Belichick, the broadcast is a great way to define standout players.

“I just want to say, on behalf of all the football fans out there, you guys do a tremendous job. This is a tremendous production. Mike, I know how hard it is to do a draft board for one team. It’s hard. You’re doing it for 32 teams, as well as knowing what all the teams are looking for, and who their players are, and putting it all together for us. You guys do an awesome, awesome job. I can’t tell you how much information you put out there to the fans, and I’d say the league. Put me in that category too.”

Yes, Belichick is that great and the Patriots nation is proud of him.
