Watch: WWE’s Becky Lynch Shades Gronkowski Over WWE Future

Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski decided to retire, and there are too many rumors suggesting that he may enter the world of WWE. Moreover, some say that Gronk will sign with Vince McMahon. WWE superstar Becky Lunch has something to say about it.

“Wouldn’t that be nice to never have done anything in wrestling and just go into Wrestlemania? I would love that,” she said in the wake of rumors the star tight end could try pro wrestling.

Gronkowski made a cameo at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 to give Mojo Rawley a hand. Rawley also said that there is huge chance that Gronk returns to the ring in near future.

“That wouldn’t surprise me one bit,” he said. “He’s always been a wrestling fan. I know WrestleMania [33], he was all excited about it, we still joke around about it, we’re still really proud of that moment. So yeah, man, in the future I’m sure at some point you’ll see him inside the WWE ring at one capacity or another.

“A guy that can move the way he can, just his size and his overall demeanor and charisma, yeah that’s kind of what we recruit around, that’s exactly what we’re looking for here. He’d be a perfect fit.”

Lynch wasn’t too thrilled about the rumors, and isn’t too interested in sharing the stage with Gronk.

“Some of us almost get fired and have to work our way and scratch and claw, and then we come to the main event,” Lynch said.

“Other people are like here you go, here’s your debut match at Wrestlemania … see you at Wrestlemania.”

Does this remind her of Ronda Rousey and the route she took?

Let’s see if Gronk is interested in the whole thing. He is a free man now, and can do whatever he wants with his career.
