LeBron React To Tragic Death Of Rapper Nipsey Hussle

The death of rapper Nipsey Hussle shocked entire country, and NBA players were the first to comment the tragedy.

Reports confirm that Nipsey Hussle was shot outside his store Marathon Clothing in Hyde Park, LA. The rapper was pronounced dead shortly after the attack. Two other people were shot, too. Athletes and celebrities took to Twitter to comment the tragedy.

LeBron James was with his team at the time he got the news.

Kyle Kuzma, Steph Curry and many other expressed their condolences.

Hussle’s debut album Victory Lap was nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys. In his interview with GQ, Hussle said, “The artist part of me always wants to be appreciated.I read every review. But I never wanted to seek validation by awards or anything controlled by politics.” 

Many celebrities had words of praise for the rapper, and sent their good thoughts and prayers. Rihanna was one of them. She took to Twitter to write, “This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this! Dear God may His spirit Rest In Peace and May You grant divine comfort to all his loved ones!”

“You were about something..positive and for your community in every chance you had to speak..and because of that You inspired millions..millions who will uphold your legacy forever. rest amongst the stars,” Pharell Williams wrote on Twitter.

“Heartbroken and speechless
god bless your beautiful family
just spoke about working…a community legend. a humble king… forreal. ah this don’t feel real. Wow,” Kehlani wrote.

“I am heartbroken that Nipsey Hussle has died. Beyond the amazing community work & loving family he left behind, he had truly come into his own as 1 of the greats in the game w/ his last album. His death leaves a void in the culture musically & spiritually that will be very hard to fill,” read the statement of Rosenberg Television.

“Watching Nipsey inspired me to invest and own in our communities. He was a solid man who loved his woman, his family and his community. This hurts,” Issa Rae wrote.

“I’ll remember him this way. Bright, genuine, forward thinking. I’ll remember the beauty that he saw in our community. And the beauty that he was. He loved us. He’s left that love with us. And it cannot die. Rest in Power, King. You mattered,” Ava DuVernay posted.
