Tom Brady Plead For Gronkowski’s Return With Amazing Instagram Comment

If you are hoping to see Rob Gronkowski play on the field in the upcoming season, it’s time to tell you that you aren’t the only person with such desire. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has already plead for Gronk’s return, and we understand him completely. They have the perfect relationship on the field, and knew how to play that game.

Gronk decided to put an end to his nine-year career with the Patriots. He was brilliant throughout his career, but 20018 wasn’t as good as his previous seasons. The tight end hauled in 79 touchdown catches from Brady, and TB12 hopes they add to this number.

The NFL shared an Instagram photo featuring the list of players who have caught the most TD passes from Brady, and Gronk is on top of the list. Brady appeared in the comment section, and wrote, “I hope 78 isn’t the final number.”

Gronk is officially placed on the reserve/retired list last week. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was shocked by the retirement, but believes Gronk will return to the league at some point.

“This is me speculating,” Rosenhaus said. “This is nothing that Rob and I talked about specifically. I don’t want to get anybody’s hopes up. Rob Gronkowski is retired and it’s unlikely that he will ever play football again. however, I did close my conversation with Rob yesterday when he called to tell me he was going to retire, and I said, ‘Rob, just keep in mind that if you ever have a change of heart, you can come back and play. I’m sure the Patriots would welcome you with open arms. If it’s sometime during the season. if it’s late in the year. if you feel good and want to come back and play, we’ll make it happen.’ That’s all. It was just a suggestion. I couldn’t let go without leaving that in Rob’s ear.

“Hey listen, Jason Witten did it. Witten another Hall of Fame tight end. he took the year off and decided to come back. Rob is 29 years old. He’s still a very young man. It wouldn’t shock me if he has a change of heart, if he feels great and he decides that he wants to play football. But this is just me talking. This isn’t Rob. And I don’t want to create any unnecessary expectations. Rob is a very unique personality. If the team was struggling or they needed him at some point next year, and let’s just say hypothetically Tom Brady gave him a call and said ‘Rob, I need you,’ I wouldn’t be shocked if he came back to play a few games.”
