Watch: Sounds Like Draymond Green is Throwing Shade at KD With LeBron Comparisons on Podcast

Draymond Green didn’t really think twice before comparing LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Green went on the Paul Rivera Podcast and talked how LeBron has become a model figure for many players in the NBA. And then came the moment when Green said that Durant was just copying the king. Maybe that wasn’t his attention, maybe we didn’t get it. But, one thing stands for sure, this statement will cause a chaos.

Nothing beats the fact that Durant followed LeBron’s career. The only problem is the fact that he says everything was his idea.

Green, on the other hand, has been really supportive of LeBron. There was a rumor according to which LeBron brought Green in Klutch.

“It’s impossible to say LeBron played no part in me joining Klutch, simply because he has been Klutch since the beginning,” Green said. “He’s essentially a founding partner. I’ve already had a relationship with LeBron for years, so it’s always good to be able to do business with family that’s going about their business in the right fashion and getting things done.

“But as far as recruiting me — no, LeBron didn’t recruit me at all.”

Except for the part when his team confronted the Lakers. Green wasn’t so thrilled about LeBron. He was more focused on his opponents in general.

“I don’t give a damn about him being in a Lakers uniform. It does not matter to me. It’s just the team that he’s on, and that’s who we face. It’s going to be a tough challenge, they’ve got guys playing well. Lonzo is playing well, Kuzma has really stepped his game up. Then obviously ‘Bron is ‘Bron. They’re going to be tough, a tough match up on Christmas Day. But we’re going to have to be at our best.”

Maybe this statement has something to do with the issue KD and Green had. Can you feel the negative emotions? But, Green said everything was fine.

Kevin and I spoke,” he said earlier in the season. “We’re moving forward. I think there’s no secret that I am an emotional player. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I play with that same emotion. Sometimes it gets the best of me and it doesn’t work to my favor. I am going to live with that. Because it works in my favor to the good, as my résumé speaks, and this team’s résumé speaks, more so than it doesn’t. So I am never going to change who I am. I am going to approach the game the same way that I always do. And like I said, we will continue to move forward.”
