LeBron James Releases Defiant Message To Potential Lakers Free Agency Targets

LeBron James is looking forward to playing alongside another superstar. We all know that the Los Angeles Lakers will go after another All-Star this summer. They have enough money to sign a star, and LeBron can’t wait for that to happen. The Lakers may be missing the playoffs this summer, but that won’t happen next year. They will play harder and better with a fortified roster. Can you imagine seeing Kevin Durant and LeBron James play on the same team? Or the king and Kyrie Irving? Signing Anthony Davis? That’s like a dream come true.

LeBron talked about his next year plans, and promised his fans that everything will be better.

“I’m looking forward to seeing who jumps in this car with me to take the ride to the top,” he told Spectrum Sportsnet. “I know what I bring to the game. I know my commitment to the game, I’ve never cheated the game. And in my career, It’s always given back to me. I’m not saying that I’ll guarantee a championship, but I am guaranteeing my body and my mind will always be in championship mindset, until I’m done.”

Signing a big name is of utmost for the Lakers at the moment.

“It (adding another star) is very critical to me and my future,” LeBron said. “Obviously, the franchise is going to live forever. But for me personally, it’s very critical, because I want to compete, and I want to compete now.”

“That’s why I came here,” he said. “I came here to win. And obviously, we need to get better, as far as our personnel. We have an opportunity to get better. And there’s a lot of talent out there, and a lot of guys that can help our franchise. So, I’ll be as active as I need to be for us to get better and go from there.”

LeBron came to LA to win, but he will have to sit out the remainder of the season.

“Of course, I would love to still play, but I’ve always listened to the ones I trust, no matter if I always agreed with them or not,” LeBron said of the Lakers’ decision to shut him down. “They’re looking out for my best interest, and that’s the way it is.”
