Stephon Gilmore Addresses The Media, Answer Questions From Fans About Patriots

Stephon Gilmore seems to be enjoying his time with the New England Patriots, and his Q&A session was the most hilarious thing ever.

Gilmore doesn’t really talk a lot when addressing the media, but he gave some pretty awesome answer this time. The cornerback gave people a reason to talk about, and he was hit by an avalanche of questions. Are you ready?

Two of the cornerback’s responses involved Tom Brady. According to Gilmore, TB12 is the best quarterback he’s ever played.

“Who is the best quarterback you’ve ever played against?” the question ready. Gilmore was pretty clear about this. “Tom Brady,” he responded.

The next question is even more hilarious.

“On a scale of 1 to 10, how mad does TB12 get if/when you pick him off in practice?” Gilmore wrote, “100.” Wow. Really, Brady?

“Thought process during the entire play that ended with you picking off Goff in the SB?” and the cornerback wrote, “He better not throw this ball.”

Gilmore used the Q&A session to praise a bunch of great football players. He praised Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and Julian Edelman got his own “crown.” According to Gilmore, he is the wide receiver that talks the most trash.

The cornerback played five seasons with the Buffalo Bills, and joined New England in 2017. He didn’t need a lot of thinking when the Bill Belichick question came forward.

“What is one part of your game that has changed the most playing for Belichick? And how did Belichick take your game to that next level?” Gilmore’s response was sharp. “Smartest coach I’ve ever played for.” We agree on that one.

But, fans were really surprised to see Gilmore’s response to the question about his trigger.

“At what moment in your life did you tell yourself, ‘man, I’m pretty good at this?’”

Gilmore wrote, “I always knew it. My dad used to have me back pedaling up hills at 10 years old. I used to be like dad why am I doing this. Lol. He said because you’re pretty good. So I always believed it.” Nice motivation.

Gilmore was named a first-team All-Pro in 2018, and turned out to be one of the best cover corners in the league.
