Watch: LeBron Hits the Town With Lakers Teammates Same Night Magic Johnson Quits

Lakers star LeBron James likes to spend time with his teammates, and this time they had a good reason to have dinner together. The resignation of Lakers director of basketball operations Magic Johnson sure stirred the pot, and it got people talking. So, the players decided to go out after the game, and they probably discussed Johnson’s decision.

One thing stands for sure, LeBron and his teammates have something to unite over. Magic Johnson caused an avalanche of reactions with his resignation, and it wasn’t the best way to finish the season. Did you see it coming? Neither did we. Many said that head coach Luke Walton would be the one to go, but Magic left the ship before him. The Los Angeles Lakers will miss the playoffs this season, and the resignation of Johnson was the last shot the team received. But, everything happens for a reason.

Magic Johnson was the one who brought LeBron in Los Angeles. He did the impossible to convince the king to ink a four-year deal, and LeBron didn’t really show his disappointment after Johnson left the team.

LeBron, Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball and JaVale McGee left the exclusive Tao Restaurant on the same night of Johnson’s resignation. The team lost the match to the Portland Trail Blazers 104-101, and the Lakers are already used to the fact that this season is over.

Johnson’s resicnation capped off the season for the team. It isn’t what fans hoped for, and this was the most unpleasant surprise ever. Nobody really thought that Johnson would quit. The 2018-2019 season was important for the Lakers, and they were supposed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2013. And now they are mising the playoffs with a bunch of injured players on the bench and a resignation. It couldn’t go any worse. Let’s not forget the generational personality gap between LeBron and his teammates.

There are too many questions to be answered. What will the front office do next? Is Luke Walton the next to go? Will other players leave the team? There are so many things we’d like to know.
