‘Shark Tank’ Star Kevin O’Leary Shares Bombshell Theory Why Magic Johnson Quit, LeBron Involved

Kevin O’Leary is one of the many people who talked about the alleged beef between Lakers star LeBron James and Magic Johnson. Things got worse after Johnson decided to resign from his position in the front office. Pretty much every person in the world of basketball talks about the reasons Johnson had to leave the team.

The “Shark Tank” star was on his way to “The View” on Thursday morning when he received a question about Johnson’s resignation.

“I didn’t understand that decision, I really didn’t,” O’Leary said. “I think he should have thought that through a little bit more.

“Clearly I’m speculating like everyone else is. He probably had a disagreement between a very influential player and other management. And he made a decision, which I think was the wrong one.”

O’Leary didn’t mention anything about LeBron James, but fans started speculating. It is more than obvious that O’Leary was referring to the king of basketball.

The team didn’t really give out any impression that Johnson had problems with the star of the team.

“There is no greater Los Angeles Laker than Earvin Johnson,” the team wrote. “We are deeply grateful to Magic for all that he has done for our franchise – as a player, an ambassador and an executive. We thank him for his work these past two years as our President of Basketball Operations and wish him, Cookie, Andre, EJ and Elisa all the best with their next steps. He will always be not only a Lakers icon, but our family. As we begin the process of moving forward, we will work in a measured and methodical fashion to make the right moves for the future of our organization.”

Magic Johnson didn’t discuss his resignation with team owner Jeanie Buss.

“No, I haven’t. I couldn’t,” Magic said when asked if Buss knows about his decision. “She doesn’t know I’m standing here because I knew I would be crying like a baby in front of her. Somebody going to have to tell my boss. I know she’s going to be sick, but I knew I couldn’t face her face-to-face and tell her, even though I was just with her yesterday.”

What about Luke Walton’s firing?
